Our Vision: Meaningful Skills and Careers for Everyone
Open Door Group is a charitable non-profit and social enterprise providing person-centered employment services and innovative leisure programs. We operate on the fundamental belief that all individuals have the right and the ability to succeed. We specialize in supporting persons with disabilities and individuals facing multiple barriers to employment.
From our humble beginnings as a woodworking skills training workshop for persons with disabilities in 1976, we have been supporting individuals with diverse abilities to achieve personal success for over forty years.
We currently serve 7 BC communities, including: Kamloops, Vancouver Downtown Eastside, Oliver, Osoyoos, Lillooet, Sechelt and Gibsons. Open Door Group is a CARF-Accredited organization and a certified Great Place to Work.
