  • Acerca de

The Philadelphia Unemployment Project (PUP) was founded in 1975 to address the needs of low income and unemployed people. PUP provides direct services to low income people and the unemployed as well as research on areas of concern to the poor and jobless. While we work in a variety of areas, our principal concerns lie in housing, health, and labor issues. PUP provides city-wide outreach and services through a Benefit Rights Hotline, outreach directly to the unemployed and through work with churches, neighborhood organizations and labor unions.
