The Bar Association of Baltimore City is the first Bar Association formed in the State of Maryland and one of the oldest in the Nation. Incorporated on January 15, 1880, its mission was "to aid in maintaining the honor and dignity of the profession, to promote legal science, and further the administration of justice." Though the practice of law has become more complex, these are still the goals which we strive today.
