Mixteca Organization, Inc.

Mixteca Organization, Inc is a non-profit organization in Sunset Park, Brooklyn established in 2000 in response to the critical educational, health, social, and employment needs of the burgeoning Mexican and Latino immigrant community in South Brooklyn. Established and run by concerned community members, Mixteca serves a vulnerable population that lives at the fringes of mainstream society. Our mission is to support the Mexican and Latino immigrant population of the New York area in achieving their health and educational goals as well as to empower the community by providing access to services that will enhance immigrants' quality of life and allow them to reach sustainable social and economic development.
