Animal Rescue Coalition of Sarasota, FL

Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to save animals for the benefit of humanity.

ARC is a Spay/Neuter Organization founded in 1999 that offers low-cost Spay/Neuter services to residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties in Florida.  We actively pursue grants and donor funds to allow us to offer free or highly subsidized services to low-income residents in under-resourced communities within neighboring DeSoto and Charlotte counties.  Our goal is to end the killing of adoptable animals in this part of Florida using a proactive model outlined by the National Spay/Neuter Response Team – Humane Alliance, a program of the ASPCA. This model has been highly effective in reducing the flow of unwanted animals into shelter systems.

We run a 3,800 sg/ft. fully equipped clinic configured to serve 35 Animals a day.  In addition, ARC offers Spay/Neuter program services to local shelters, animal service agencies and rescue groups for whom we further reduce our fees in the spirit of collaboration working toward a true “no-kill.' Goal.  We off a round-trip transport program to further extend our impact in this part of Florida.
