Project MEND’s mission is to enable low-income persons with disabilities to live as independently and mobile as possible. A organization that was founded in 1992, Project MEND has assisted thousands of low-income individuals and their families with such items as wheel chairs, hospital beds, walkers, canes, and crutches. With these medical devices, they are able to increase their levels of independence and mobility. Project MEND was established on the belief that no one should be denied from living a full life due to their inability to pay.
