Gateway Pet Guardians is an animal welfare organization whose mission is to end homelessness for animals in the East St. Louis metropolitan area through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and outreach.
Volunteers are at the core of every program within GPG. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to continue our mission of ending homelessness for animals in the Metro East. Our community of over 300 volunteers work together with staff in a variety of positions, both at the shelter and out in the field.
