The League of Arab States is a national and regional organization that groups together the twenty-two Arab states. It has acquired an international character as indicated by the "observer status" it enjoys at the United Nations and other international organizations.
The objective of the League of Arab States Mission to the United States is to represent the interests of its member-states and foster greater cross-cultural dialogue, building ties of joint-cooperation, deep understanding, and mutual appreciation between the people of the US and those of the Arab World.
