Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) is a fully integrated health care system consisting of a medical center, primary care offices, a Regional Cancer Center, and a Center for Living and Rehabilitation. SVHC exists to provide exceptional health care and comfort to the more than 80,000 people we serve throughout Southwestern Vermont and portions of New York and Massachusetts. Our vision is to be a preeminent, rural, integrated health care system that provides exceptional, convenient, safe, and affordable care.
Recognizing that the health of our community is a result of much than access to health care alone, we also work to implement programs that counteract the social determinants of health, such as poverty, food insecurity, and poor housing.
