Beau’s Wish is a volunteer based, non- profit organization that saves and advocates for homeless dogs. We are not a shelter. Our rehabilitation foster
program addresses the unique needs of rescue dogs that are too difficult to
place in permanent homes because of anxiety, fears and phobias as a result of
abuse and/or neglect. Our specialized program is designed to rehabilitate these
dogs in foster homes with rehab trainers, not in a training environment, which
is essential to achieving successful adoptions. We are dedicated to nurturing
and healing the physical and emotional wounds of the dogs in our care, and to
restoring the dignity and high quality of life they deserve. Our mission is:
- To rescue, foster, rehabilitate, and ultimately adopt out rescue dogs suffering from anxiety, fears and phobias as a result of abuse and/or neglect.
- To fund and encourage free spay / neuter programs and clinics.
- To provide training consultations in an effort to solve behavior issues that could result in someone giving up a dog.
- To sponsor educational programs for the community about the mutual benefits of the human-animal bond, the importance of spaying and neutering, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all dogs.
