The APBD Research Foundation is the only 501(c) (3) nonprofit committed to supporting patients with adult polyglucosan body disease and their families. Our mission is four-fold: improve the diagnosis and treatment of this debilitating rare disease; support affected individuals and families; increase awareness of APBD among health professionals and the public; and facilitate the translation of research into treatments and a cure for APBD.
