BIDII YETU ACTION (BYA)

 is a community based organization Created in 2019 in order to transform the life conditions of marginalized people and to address the community need and problems, being strategically located among them,

 BYA mission is dedicated to serve and bring about sustainable development changes, by empowering and transforming life conditions of the poor communities at large

Our main objectives are to involve the community to become self-reliant

 2:5. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The Organization shall have the following specific objects:

Ø Transforming life conditions of vulnerable people

Ø Environmental Conservation and Management.

Ø Promoting Permaculture and Agriculture.

Ø Assisting people with disability.

Ø Education (Non-formal and Formal)

Ø Micro finance and Small Loans

Ø Psycho Social Support

2.6. PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

1.      EDUCATION:

In education program, we have three main activities undertaken by Bidii Yetu Action

Ø Children Education

In this program intend to educate and to empower children in different skills including Early Childhood education, football, body motors, music and cultural dance.

Online and Distance Learning

In this program intend to provide Online or Distance Learning to Form Four Leavers Youths who don’t have the possibility to attend university or college due to financial problems.

2.      ENVIRONMENT AND HYGINE:

The aim of this project is to improve the community health and climate change through trees planting and distributing the trees in kakuma refugee camp and host communities.    

3.      PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT

Ø CHILD ART THERAPY

In this program intend to support children to express their emotion and feelings through drawing, painting, storytelling and creativity.

Ø SOCIAL SUPPORT

This program intends to support vulnerable people, including orphans, Elderly, people with disability, poor children with non-food and food support in their households and communities both refugees and host.

4.      PERMACULTURE:

In this program intend to support women and the community with the small farms and to train them how to harvest in short time by using permaculture system and promote economic growth and food security through sustainable development.                 

5.      PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITY AND MICRO FINANCE               

In this program intend to take care with ppeople with ddisability to encourage them to participate in Ssocial and Economic actions by training them in life skills and also to make them participate in games and sport.
