The Detroit Food Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses community-focused food entrepreneurship as a vehicle to activate high school students as critical thinkers, selfstarters, conscious consumers, life-long learners, values-based leaders, and community activists. As our students craft values-based products from scratch to market, they grow as powerful and thoughtful leaders with the skills and resources necessary to affect change both within their communities and beyond.
