Established in 1983, Northern Refugee Centre (NRC) promotes the welfare of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable economic migrants across Yorkshire and Humberside. NRC works to improve conditions and opportunities for these groups, to make possible integration into the wider community. Its services currently include advice, mentoring, community development and the women's advocacy project.
