Philadelphia Youth Basketball, Inc.

Philadelphia Youth Basketball, Inc. (PYB) is a dynamic, non-profit enterprise that was launched in the spring of 2015. Its mission is to leverage the values of the game of basketball to create opportunities for young people in the Philadelphia region, especially those from under-resourced communities, in order to develop their potential as students, athletes, and responsible and engaged citizens. 

PYB has been established by a diverse and passionate group of citizens in the youth and education, business, philanthropic, and basketball communities. The organizing team and founding board members of PYB have been motivated by the combined potential of basketball, leadership and character development, educational and college preparatory supports, health and wellness, family engagement, and skilled coaching and mentorship to have transformative power in the lives of kids and communities.
