Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center

The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center showcases the coupling of solar energy and local food production to educate and inspire our broader community. Based at Jack's Solar Garden in Boulder County, Colorado, our staff provide educational opportunities about solar energy and agricultural production co-existing for highschoolers, community members, and policymakers via tours, events, presentations, and guidance documents. We host free online webinars with experts in agrivoltaics, discuss solar siting policies on farmland with county officials, work with academic institutions to share out recent learnings about agrivoltaics, and so much more.

All of what we do focuses on the food, energy, land, and water nexus in an inspiring story of how our nation can produce the clean energy we need above ground, while continuing to grow crops or keep livestock below the panels using less water. It is possible. It's done at Jack's Solar Garden. Others can do it too, and we're here to help them do it.
