Global Zero is the international movement for the elimination of all nuclear weapons. Since its launch in Paris in December 2008, Global Zero has grown to include 300 current and former heads of state, national security advisers, military commanders, and business, civic and faith leaders -- and nearly half a million citizens worldwide; developed a step-by-step plan to eliminate nuclear weapons; hosted numerous international summits and regional conferences; built a robust youth movement with hundreds of student chapters all over the world; and produced an acclaimed documentary film, Countdown to Zero, with the Academy Award-winning team behind An Inconvenient Truth.
