The goal of the Department of Dropout Prevention and Recovery, part of the Office of High Schools and High School Programs of the Chicago Public Schools, is to dramatically improve the graduation rate for Chicago youth and ensure that all students have the supports they need to stay on track to graduate and be successful in postsecondary education and the workforce.
