National Coalition to Protect Civil Freedoms was established in 2010 with a focus on the preservation of civil liberties in the face of post 9/11 counter-terrorism policies. To this end, the NCPCF works to educate the public about the erosion of civil and political freedoms in the US, and the abuses of prisoners within the U.S. criminal justice system. The NCPCF also works to support impacted families who have been directly targeted, which includes a largely Muslim population who have been the victims of preemptive prosecution and entrapment.
