First Street Mission values approachability, reliability, and solidarity as fundamental to our mission of reducing the harm caused by broken systems.
From our location in downtown Fort Worth, First Street Mission has provided essential services to our neighbors for over 70 years. Our doors are open to those in need every week to provide essential services: the largest TAFB-affiliated food pantry within the city limits of Fort Worth, a free clothing bank, an infant formula bank, and a cafe that provides easy-to-access food primarily for those living on the street. Additionally, our street outreach team provides navigation and case management to those experiencing homelessness. And our financial assistance program works to ease financial strain and prevent homelessness.
