Neighbors Helping Neighbors Since 1989
Seventeen years ago, two couples heard God's calll to help the homeless and hurting here in the Verde Valley. They drove to the park in a pick-up truck, dropped the tailgate, and served a hot bowl of soup to anyone who needed it. We have come a long way since that first bowl of soup, but what hasn't changed is the mission God has given us, to meet people where they are with what they need.
We were there to help over 36,000 men, women and children last year through programs and services including food, clothing, showers, hot lunches, school supplies, eyeglasses, haircuts, legal advise and medical and dental referalls. These programs fill the gap for those who are facing tough economic times. The need this year continues to grow weekly as we see new families struggling to make ends meet.
