Miracle of Innocence

Miracle of Innocence (MoI) is a non-profit organization driven to alleviate the injustice and suffering of innocent persons who have been wrongfully convicted. It was founded in 2017 and its mission has been honed by exonerees, individuals who have been personally impacted by this tragedy and have been vindicated and freed by the effort of others who believed in them. MoI is driven by the knowledge that we are perhaps the “last hope” for those truly in need and truly suffering from injustice.

Our objective is to “bring home” innocent men & women who are factually innocent of the crimes for which they have been imprisoned. However, our strategic priorities go beyond securing freedom for these individuals. We also focus on comprehensive exoneree care, including emotional and financial support when they come home and ongoing therapeutic counseling. We are heavily supported by volunteer talent and use social media and public speaking engagements to share our message of social justice through the voices of our exonerees.

MoI is a young organization and stands at a moment of great opportunity. We are supported by a very strong Board of Directors made up of our two exoneree founders, business and community leaders, and those who bring specific skills to support our strategic plan.
