    Located 20 miles north of Boston, Wenham Museum interprets how New Englanders have lived, worked, dressed, and played from the seventeenth century to today through its renowned collections of dolls, toys, photographs, costumes, textiles, domestic artifacts, tools, and the c.1680 Claflin-Richards House. With an operating budget of $540,000, fourteen-member staff, and 26,000+ artifacrs, the museum hosts over 100 programs for children and adults, and curates five changing exhibition spaces and five permanent galleries each year to meet its mission to protect, preserve, and interpret the artifacts of childhood, domestic life, and the history and culture of Boston's North Shore.
