Prairieland Market is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to promote personal, communal and environmental nourishment by supporting local/regional and organic food production, as well as consumer education, with access for all. The Market has been in existence since 1978 in various forms, with a commitment to creating relationships between local growers and the community. We are making the transition from a 501(c)12 cooperative to a 501(c)3 to be able to develop a broad educational program and actively fundraise to support this program.
