Our mission is to maintain a
sanctuary that shelters, nurtures and re-socializes parrots, while
educating the public to inspire a lasting concern for the well being of
exotic birds.On an average day, about 50 people of all
ages spend time walking among the birds, talking with them and offering
the food we provide to feed them. It is through this daily routine that
the birds become re-socialized. They come out into the yard each day and
return to the security of their cages at night.Free Flight offers educational programs
for both adults and children, as well as hosting field trips, taking
education programs to schools, libraries, nursing homes and community
events.
