Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for all people in need and to revitalize neighborhoods across the city.
Reaching out from Christian roots to persons from every walk of life, Habitat staff and volunteers work along side low-income families who invest sweat equity in building their own homes, which are sold at cost, with no profit or interest. As an urban affiliate, HFHP seeks to carry out its mission of affordable housing development within the larger context of community renewal and revitalization.
