Tri-County Health Department

TCHD is the largest public health department in CO. We serve Arapahoe, Douglas, and Adams counties. We have 11 offices over the metro Denver area. Our mission is to protect, promote and improve the health, environment and quality of life. To name of a few of our services are our Vital Records department that handles birth and death certificates, Emergency preparedness and response & communicable disease surveillance division , WIC Nutrition services (stands for women, infant and child and we provide support to mothers and their children, Environmental Health that handles restaurant inspections, pool inspections and helped our business open up safely during the COVID pandemic. And Nursing who's focus is on promoting good health for children and adults through linkages to health insurance and health care services, nurse case management, disease prevention, and clinical, preventive and health education programs.
