The LEAD Program is a unique, educational non-profit dedicated to closing the achievement gap during the hours after school. We aim to provide excellent tutoring services as well as enrichment activities to children in under-resourced neighborhoods who otherwise do not have access to these services after school.Graduation rates are less than ideal in New York City. Moreover, studies have shown that by third grade, a child's test scores can greatly predict his or her ability to graduate on time.We aim to tackle educational inequity early on by providing resources to elementary school children.
