(PSSS) is the first supportive social service program of its kind in the U.S. It aims to serve residents of the Penn South Co-op, but its focus has been on its older population - the majority of Penn South's cooperators. PSSS encourages older people to lead independent, fulfilling and enriched lives through intellectual and cultural activities and by providing social and healthcare services.
