Advocacy Unlimited, Inc., is one of the nation's largest statewide agencies of its kind, founded in 1994 as the Community Advocacy Education Division (CAED), a branch of Connecticut Legal Rights Project (CLRP). The mission of Advocacy Unlimited, Inc. is to promote individual growth and systems transformation through advocacy, education, and support. The keystone of programming includes equipping individuals who experience mental health and/or addiction challenges with the appropriate skills to improve outcomes in the area of employment, community inclusion, independence, and overall quality of life. We accomplish our mission through comprehensive recovery and advocacy education and training programs, including Toivo - Mind Body focused Wellness Center, Recovery University Certification Program, our long-standing Advocacy Education Course and Young Adult Initiatives.
