Consult Your Community

Consult Your Community (CYC) is a nonprofit organization that offers pro bono consulting services to low-income, small business owners in college communities. Founded in February 2013, it has expanded to nearly 15 of the most prestigious universities in the nation, including UC Berkeley, Columbia, Georgia Tech, and more. CYC mobilizes 350+ college undergraduate students to assist small business owners in growth strategy, marketing, operational improvement, and general management advisory needs. Small business owners, often lacking the resources and time for strategic planning, receive the help they need, and students get the opportunity to see how a business runs from the ground up. In this way, CYC aims to inspire students and industry professionals across America to strengthen the millions of small businesses that are the fabric of the national economy.
