Founded in 2011, UPlift Project, Inc. targets ex-juvenile offenders currently or formerly enrolled in Chicago Public Schools and provides them with the following services: (1) Assistance with filing for the expungement of criminal record; (2) Academic credit recovery services to earn credits towards high school graduation; and
(3) Development of transition plan to progress through high school to post-secondary employment and/or education.
