Community Village Lawrence

Who We Are

Community Village Lawrence is a volunteer-driven non-profit that offers services and support to residents who wish to remain in their homes as they age. We are a group of members and volunteers with the mission to create a network of neighborly support by connecting people to whatever help they need, whether it be a ride to the grocery store, help around the house, or a recommended roofing expert.

There are no requirements to join Community Village Lawrence and we embrace the multi-generational aspects of aging in place. We provide direct volunteer services, host social activities and recommend vetted professional service providers who understand the needs of our members. While we are the first Village in Kansas, there are more than 100 Villages around the US and the World, and more are developing every day. Community Village Lawrence is not a physical location, but rather a virtual village – a network of people. We are neighbors helping neighbors.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for community members who care about our mission and would like to contribute in any way, big or small.
