"...shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and provide a path to personal self sufficiency"

Best known as Hospitality House, we have been operating a shelter for the homeless here since 1986. The community has been supporting us to feed and accommodate people in need for 32 years.

In recent years, the Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center has added additional services for the homeless and mentally ill in our community - including Transitional Housing projects, case management services, vocational services, mental health services, and more.

In 2015, though a Community Development Block Grant from the City of Fort Bragg, and a large donation, MCHC acquired the Hospitality Center facility at 101 N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg.
