OJPC is a non-profit law firm representing people who have been marginalized by the criminal justice system and advocating evidence-based criminal justice reform. We work to improve prison conditions and protect inmates’ rights so they have a better chance at improving themselves while incarcerated. We also work to overcome the invisible punishments that prevent people with criminal records from fully participating in their families and communities. And we work to identify and eliminate racial disparity in Ohio’s criminal justice system. In all of our focus areas, we blend individual representation with impact litigation, policy advocacy, and public education. More information about all our projects can be found at www.ohiojpc.org.
