A 501(c)(3) not for profit organization founded in 1967 by a dedicated group of community leaders and volunteers, our Mission is to Provide, Manage and Advocate for Affordable Housing.
Advocacy
We work to encourage the development of affordable homes and diverse neighborhoods within the fabric of Princeton, where all individuals and families, regardless of income, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation or sexual orientation will have the opportunity to live in the community of their choice with appropriate supports and services.
Development of Additional Affordable Rental Homes
Building on our collaborative work with the Municipality of Princeton, Princeton University and other local and regional groups, we strive to continue to fund and create additional rental housing opportunities that are affordable to individuals and families of very low, low and moderate incomes.
Management
We own and manage almost 500 affordable rental apartments and townhomes in Princeton, NJ, that are home to over 1,000 residents. Our rental homes are attractive, safe and well maintained. By sustaining and forging partnerships with other local agencies and nonprofit groups, we successfully provide and enhance many needed resident services, such as social services and congregate services for our senior residents, monthly food pantries, onsite after school child care with the Princeton YMCA’s Princeton Young Achievers program, financial literacy programs, health screenings and assistance with identifying and applying for a variety of other services. We also provide administrative agent assistance to local municipalities to assist them in fulfilling their affordable housing monitoring obligations.
