At IMAHELPS ECUADOR, our mission is to provide sustainable, high-quality healthcare to the most underserved communities in Ecuador. We focus on creating ongoing, meaningful impact through multiple mission clinic programs each year, and one or more surgical missions. These programs are staffed by volunteer medical, dental, surgical, and pain management teams from the United States, Ecuador, and other countries. Together, we bring compassionate care to those who need it most.
In addition to our mission programs, we have established a year-round IMAHELPS ECUADOR medical clinic in Ecuador. This clinic operates as a low-cost facility, ensuring accessibility for patients while supporting its ongoing operations. It is managed by a dedicated Ecuadorian surgeon who has committed to providing free follow-up care to patients treated during our volunteer mission programs. This unique model allows us to extend the benefits of our mission work beyond the initial treatment, offering continuity of care to those in need.
Our overarching mission is to democratize health. We believe that the most fundamental human right is to enjoy comprehensive well-being and dignified access to timely medical care. Through our programs and partnerships, we are working to ensure that this right is realized for the poorest communities in Ecuador, providing care with the utmost warmth, quality, and respect.
