St. Francis Xavier Action Youth Center (http://www.sfxactionyouth.org) is a non-sectarian community based program located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It has been in existence since 1987. Our mission is to support the positive growth and development of children and youth and help their families become self reliant. We have adopted the saying “Investing in today’s youth for tomorrow’s future,” to emphasize our commitment. St. Francis Xavier Action Youth Center currently operates an after-school homework help and recreation program, a sports and recreation program, a youth leadership development program, a summer day camp and a variety of special events and programs.
