Maine Arts & Sports Academy (MASA) pivots students around the reality that they are team members of their school, community and Earth. MASA uses the arts, sports, apprenticeships, service-learning opportunities, and environmental education through which students explore their interests, develop their talents, strengthen their abilities, and engage in collaborative efforts with other youths & adults. MASA believes that education necessarily means a melding of education with community; thus, MASA not only declares a share in the responsibility for youths' moral, civic and global education, but facilitates all this happening.
