Visitation Catholic School has served families on Chicago's south side for more than 125 years. We are a tight-knit community grounded in our core values of faith, family, tradition, and excellence. We serve students from Pre-K through 8th-Grade and are looking to expand our Vis family by bringing a new 5th-grade homeroom teacher on board.
Our school and teachers maintain strong relationships with community partners such as the Big Shoulders Fund, United Stand, Precious Blood, and others. These organizations provide programming and support for students, staff, and teachers, including unique opportunities for professional development.
We believe in the importance of supporting students’ social and emotional well-being as well as academic growth. Our curriculum reflects these values and teachers are regularly offered professional development opportunities in this area.
