Fisher House Southern California

Fisher House Southern California, Inc. provides ongoing support of four Fisher Houses located at: VA-Long Beach Medical Center; Camp Pendleton Naval Medical Center; and Navy Medical Center San Diego. A Fisher House provides temporary lodging for families of military and veterans, allowing them to stay close by, while their loved one is being treated for an injury or illness at a military or VA medical facility. As there is never a cost to stay at a Fisher House, families are relieved of the financial burden of having to pay for expensive hotel stays. Support by Fisher House SoCal helps create a home away from home environment for our military and veterans and their families, providing them with the comforts of home including private bedrooms with ensuite baths, toiletries, some meal supplies and transportation support, along with a full kitchen and common dining and living areas. Families are able to gain strength from other families staying in the home, who are also struggling with a medical crises facing their loved one.
