  • Acerca de

The Maryland Youth & the Law (MYLAW) was established in 1975 to promote law-related education in public and private schools. (We were formally known as CLREP-Citizenship Law Related Education Program)

    The program has four goals:

    (1) Improving students’ and teachers’ knowledge and understanding of the law, legal profession, and courts through real-world experiences; (2) Fostering a more constructive attitude toward civic responsibility and its role in the law; and (3) Preparing young people for “life beyond high school” through the attainment of fundamental life skills, (4) Decreasing youth crime through diversion, community restitution, and structured, educational out-of-school activities.
