Goodwill GoodGuides of Central Illinois Youth Mentoring Program

Goodwill GoodGuides™ is a national mentoring program that has served Peoria and surrounding areas since 2009. GoodGuides™ matches youth age 12 - 17 with an adult in the community to provide a positive role model. Since our beginning, we've matched over 400 youth in the community with a caring adult to help prepare them for the future, a feat that is only possible thanks to caring volunteers like you! Mentors can choose either to meet with a small group of students at school once a week, or meet with an individual student after school to do activities in the community. Mentors commit to their youth for a minimum of 1 year, and meet for roughly 1 hr each week. We work hard to match adults and youth with similar personalities and interests, so that both of you enjoy your time in the program. Staff also offers on-going support throughout your time in the program, as well as fun events to attend with your youth.
