Green Swamp Foundation

Mission Statement

The Green Swamp Foundation consists of friends and families of Lake County who serve Lake County families in times of crisis. We strive to provide a sense of “normalcy” to children of families who may be experiencing an unexpected financial change. We also strive to help children live an active, healthy lifestyle. Sometimes during a stressful time in a child’s life, they might turn down a bad path. Our Foundation would like to be there to help support the family and keep the child in a positive light.

The Green Swamp Foundation recognizes the importance of providing children with the ability to continue to participate in extracurricular activities, attend social outings, and to give them the opportunity to continue to maintain their everyday lives as families even through turbulent times. By aiding the families, this takes burden off the children. The Green Swamp Foundation helps families in need with the following functions:

Gift Giveaway

·        Christmas Presents

·        Birthday Presents

·        Ability to provide a toy to bring to a Birthday Party

 Normalcy

·        Scholarships and Performance Accessories support for the Performing Arts.

·        Support teens by providing simple items and gift cards.
