CALC's mission is to educate and mobilize for peace, human dignity and social, racial and economic justice. We are a policy and advocacy organization working to create strategic social change. CALC is committed to providing an inclusive working environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We encourage and value diversity and this includes, but is not limited to age, gender, ethnicity, physical and mental disabilities, sexual orientation, race, nationality, marital and/or parental status, lifestyle, religion, and education.
Community Alliance of Lane County aspires to create a community of people committed to peace and social justice. CALC does its work through its staff, board and the many volunteers as well as by allying with other community groups and actions.
