PTSD Anonymous (PTSDA) is an all volunteer effort to create a national network of peer oriented and run groups for military personnel with combat stress/PTSD. PTSDA focuses on local support groups or teams for those facing the initial stigma of seeking help for mental health and the continued stress of daily life issues. Military returnees "live in two worlds" of war and home; and improving their social support systems enhances their re-integration and overall quality of life.
