Veterans Repertory Theater (VetRep) is dedicated to reinvigorating American theater through the work of veteran writers and artists.

If culture is the story we tell ourselves about ourselves, our cultural picture will always be lacking without the voices of the one of the most artistically under-represented groups: those from the profession of arms. At Veterans Repertory Theater, our aim is to become a leading force in American theater, fostering a creative sandbox where veteran artists can thrive, innovate, and impact audiences worldwide. Through our commitment to excellence in production, customer experience and talent development, we strive to serve our audiences through intimate, absurdist, whimsical and jarring live performances. Our vision is to entertain, inspire, and create a lasting legacy of artistic excellence through the work of veteran artists and writers.

Savage Wonder Arts (formerly VetRep), founded in February 2021, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to amplifying the voices and creativity of veteran playwrights and artists. Through live performance mediums—ranging from theater to festivals, gallery exhibitions, and immersive art experiences—we foster a unique space for artistic expression, community engagement, and storytelling.
In a significant milestone, Savage Wonder Arts has acquired a 12,000 sq. ft. historic venue in Beacon, NY. This new space will launch in May, featuring an art gallery, bookstore, wine bar, and parlor stage, with future phases adding a 60-seat variety stage and a 165-seat main stage. This transformative development allows us to integrate visual and culinary arts into our programming, furthering our mission of celebrating resilience and creativity within the veteran community and beyond.
At Savage Wonder Arts, we honor the transformative power of the arts to inspire, connect, and heal. Through every initiative, we celebrate the resilience and creativity of veterans, offering experiences that deeply resonate with audiences and artists alike.
