18twenty8 is a Non Profit Organisation that empowers disadvantaged young women in South Africa by developing strategies for their educational and personal development. We encourage young women to view higher education as an attractive and necessary tool for their empowement. We facilitate various life skills workshops for girls in Grade 11 and Grade 12 at high schools in marginalised communities and provide young women with mentors through our Big Sister network. Our long term vision is to reach as many disadvantaged young women in South Africa as possible and to finance their higher education directly.
