Organization Description

Second Chance Living PMI (Purpose, Motivate, Innovate) is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of justice-involved women in underserved communities by focusing on community resources that create measurable impact in workforce development, mental health, and reduce the probability of returning to prison. Our aim is to empower and support women in their transition to becoming independent and viable citizens in their families and communities. We offer a diverse set of services including career readiness training, entrepreneurship education, mental health counseling, finance and budgeting, and culture awareness.

2nd Chance Living PMI Inc. was established December 29 , 2017 and is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Through real-life experience as well as the help of proven methods from similar non-profits like PMI, our program offers a unique faith based strategic approach to reintegrating into society. Our team and partnering organizations lead us with over 14 years of experience providing a safe transition back to society. We provide job placement assistant, entrepreneurship training, self-help social services, and spiritual guidance. PMI is based in the heart of New Orleans, LA and is a 12-16 month program. We accept clients from Jefferson parish and Orleans parish.
