Masorti Foundation for Conservative Judaism In Israel

The Masorti Foundation advances the Conservative Jewish Movement in Israel – known there as the Masorti Movement – through education, advocacy and fundraising support. The Masorti Movement has 80 congregations and communities throughout Israel, which welcome all, regardless of age, gender identity or sexual orientation. It is a leading force within Israel promoting religious pluralism, inclusivity, egalitarianism and democracy. Masorti communities in Israel value community service, offering educational and social programs and services that assist disadvantaged children and adults, aid in the assimilation of new immigrants and engage the public at-large. Masorti Movement national initiatives include Jewish Pluralism Watch, a non-partisan institute which monitors legislative activities regarding religion and state and personal status within Israel; Adraba, Israel’s only national program providing meaningful bar and bat mitzvah education and preparation for children with special needs; Ramah-Noam Summer Camp, as well as a youth movement, networks for college-age young adults, and other leadership development opportunities.
